Roslynn Chadwick is a rich heiress who secretly left Scotland to escape the greedy and cruel cousin Geordie, which aims to marry her and then maybe get rid of her, imposessarsi his money. Roslynn has promised to his grandfather, who died leaving her with no other living relatives, who would soon find a husband to avoid the clutches of Geordie.
